Super "Quarterback" Bowl

So, the playoffs are over and we have our contestants. Brett Favre (as well as Adrian Peterson) helped determine Minnesota's fate. Kurt Warner gave it a run and now, is hanging it up. Peyton Manning and Drew Brees, on the other hand, are Super Bowl bound in what could be the most prolific quarterback match up in history!
There does happen to be some great match ups in the history of this game, too. Favre vs. Elway, Elway vs. Montana, Staubach vs. Bradshaw, and Unitas vs Dawson, just name a few. But, this one, Manning vs Brees... are you serious? Two of leagues greatest passers that may have ever played the game. Two rocket-arms, two gunners, two of the most studied and most intelligent artists in the NFL, ever!? Are you serious?
Their stats alone speak many, impressive, words! Both can brag of 360 or more passes they have completed this year alone. Both can say, "Well, I did throw for 4300+ yards during this great season." And both can speak of tossing 33 or more touchdowns to their amazing receiving corps. Most of these passes were beyond amazing, quite a few unbelievable!
Its the #2 (IND) and the #4 (NO) passing offenses vs the #26 (NO) and #14 (IND) passing defenses. This game will see massive gun slinging and hopefully high scores. It could go down in history as the best offensive match up ever, with either Brees or Manning as the MVP. I am unable to recall the last time I was this excited for championship game, especially with two teams who are not from home. I'm definetely looking forward to the battle... better yet, the dogfight due to the amount aerial combat that will take place.
